He Proposed
How could I have been so nervous to propose to the love of my life, knowing very well that she was going to say yes? I was shaking, sweating and going over and over again in my head what I was going to say, but when I got down on one knee, time had stopped and all my fears went away and all I can remember is her saying “Yes”.

It’s Amazing how one day someone walks into your life, and you cannot remember how you ever lived without them.
Marriage stands the test of times when both you and your spouse work towards making things better. We are tested most when we face adversities, if you can sail through the adversities as one, as a team, then you have won half the battle.

As most of you may know, Tanner and I have been together for a long time and have established a wonderful home filled with many of the necessities. Our First Date
It was May 28, 2011, Tanner had a rule of asking 3 days in advance for a date, so he called Morgan on a Tuesday to ask her to go to a Rockies game and to dinner with him on a Friday. He picked her up from her parent’s house, where she was staying for the summer home from college. They went to the game and in the first inning, they made a bet that loser buys dinner. Morgan bet the Rockies would win and Tanner bet the cardinals would win. Even if the Rockies had lost (which they didn’t), Tanner would have bought dinner. They walked to a Mongolian BBQ restaurant near Coors Field and enjoyed a fun meal together before Tanner took her home and kissed her goodnight at the door.
Our Life Together Forever
We’ve been through many ups and downs over the years and the hardest times were the time spent away from one another. Our life together has been all over the place, quite literally. Denver, Gunnison, Denver again, Montana, back to Denver, and finally Washington. Much of our relationship was long distance, but we found a way through it and made it work because we loved each other. Tanner was supportive and patient while Morgan finished pharmacy school and established a career that took them to Washington State. Now it is Morgan’s turn to be supportive and patient while Tanner is establishing his career as an EMT/firefighter.
